Summer Training Program

Under the patronage of Prof. Tarek Ali, President of Beni-Suef University; Prof. Abo El-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Diaa El-Din Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts; Prof. Fatma Ahmed Hussein, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Jehan Fouad, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Applied Arts at Beni-Suef University launched its Summer Training Program for Preparatory Year students.
The initiative reflects the Faculty's commitment to fostering a strong sense of belonging among its students while bridging academic learning with practical application in service of the surrounding community. The program focuses on enhancing the visual identity and aesthetic appearance of the Faculty's buildings through student-led beautification and development projects.
The program is the result of fruitful collaboration among the Faculty's academic departments. Activities commenced with the participation of the Department of Interior Design and Furniture, headed by Prof. Ahmed Safi El-Din, with the active involvement of the department's teaching assistants:

The launch of the training program witnessed remarkable enthusiasm and engagement from Preparatory Year students. The practical activities included:

Repainting and refurbishing the Faculty's main lecture hall to provide an enhanced environment for lectures and academic events.

Renovating and repainting corridors and interior stairways while adding aesthetic elements that reflect the identity and heritage of the Faculty of Applied Arts.
The program enabled students to acquire fundamental practical skills in handling materials and paints, as well as coordinating colors within architectural spaces. It also reinforced the values of teamwork and responsibility toward preserving the Faculty's facilities.
The Faculty administration reaffirmed its commitment to supporting such constructive initiatives, which provide students with meaningful opportunities to leave their creative mark on their Faculty while enriching their academic and professional experience. The administration wishes all students continued success and excellence in their academic and future careers.
