The Faculty of Applied Arts, in collaboration with the University Center for Career Development (UCCD) at Beni Suef University, organized a workshop entitled *“A New Step Toward the Future and Entrepreneurship”* on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The workshop was delivered by the UCCD team under the leadership of Dr. Emad El-Din Mohamed Kamel, Director of the Center; Dr. Ismail Selim, Deputy Director; Dr. Randa Yassin, Career Development Specialist; Mr. Mahmoud Fathy, Employment Officer; and Mr. Khaled Kamel, Information Systems Officer.

The workshop addressed key labor market skills and entrepreneurship fundamentals through several core themes, including idea generation, the characteristics of a strong business idea, creativity and innovation, and the qualities of a successful entrepreneur.

It aimed to encourage students to think differently, transform their ideas into reality, and become well-prepared to meet the demands of the labor market.

The workshop received strong engagement and widespread positive feedback from both students and attendees.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Marwa Mamdouh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Hanan Diab, Head of the Textile Printing, Dyeing, and Finishing Department, along with a distinguished group of faculty members, teaching assistants, students, and researchers.
